Wheels of Life

My work is generally sculptural in approach so in these works I wanted to find a way of creating this effect in photographs (which was the medium I was asked to use  for the exhibition Cley 16) whilst continuing my exploration of transience and life cycles   Both these works will be shown at Cley 16 which opens on 7th July (http://www.cleycontemporaryart.org/)

Mandala is made from a photograph of discarded mussel shells and in Mandala II a series of photographs were made and then collaged before being photographed again to create the final image.
